Motorized Bikes & Scooters/ATVs Rules 

As motorized bikes and scooters are becoming more popular, it has become necessary for Management to institute rules and policies to keep our guests safe.

Due to the continued non-compliance with stop signs, safety, complaints and speed issues we have experienced with the use of E-BIKES we are taking the first step in restricting the use of these on our roadways in the park. Beginning this Monday June 22nd, all E-Bike use in the park will be prohibited from 10pm until sunrise. This is our first step to keep the park safe and to drive home the importance of the issues of the use of these items in the park. Step two will be likely require site numbers and to restrict them to 8pm like the stand up scooters and third will be to totally eliminate the use of them in the park. PARENTS.....you should consider getting involved now so it does not go any further than the first step. Look at the peace it gives you to have your kids be able to have these freedoms already. Further restrictions or elimination of use will place more pressure on you the parent in dealing with the issue on the campsite........Making the park safer.....Happy Camping !

 
Camping Amenities | Treasure Beach

Unlicensed and/or Non-DMV Tagged Motorized (combustible motor sourced) scooters, skateboards, motorcycles, mini bikes, go carts, ATV’s, UTV’s, bicycles and like items are prohibited in the park. To further clarify please refer to this link for a PROHIBITIED ITEMS TO BE RIDDEN VISUAL.

  • All Sitting Modes of Transportation, Manual, Pedal and Battery Sourced….such as Razor scooters, Mini Bikes, Fat Tire Scooters, Big Wheels, Novelty Items such as rideable coolers and like items are prohibited from use in the park.

  • Rechargeable Battery Sourced Standing Modes of Transportation, such as hover boards, skateboards, Segway’s, In motion Unicycles, One Wheels and like items are permitted for use at your “own risk” during daylight hours only. These items are prohibited from being used 8pm to Sunrise (May change with daylight times) and no form of lighting shall be made useable. Users must obey all traffic signs and speed in the park.

  • Typical Bicycle & Rechargeable Battery Sourced Electric Bicycles or E-Bikes, Typically with 1500watt motors or less, are permitted providing the user obeys all traffic devices and speed limits. All Bikes & E-Bikes must display a working white light and red tail light to be used at dark.  All Daily Campers….must acquire a zip tie identification tag for each E-Bike to be displayed on the left handlebar of the E-Bike at all times while in the park. All Seasonal Campers must display the proper site numbers issued by the park on the left side of the bike.

  • Rechargeable Battery Sourced Electric Motorcross Bikes and Motorcycles typically having a motor in excess of 1500 watts are NOT PERMITTED ON PARK PROPERTY.

    The General Park Manager has the final determination if any such item(s) meets the above criteria, or if any item not addressed herein shall be permitted for use in the park.
